@Zaeryth @knerble What we need is for workers of this nation to be protected. Way too many times I’ve been given a bad hand when all I want to do is a good job, get a substantial payment for the work that I did, and enjoy the fruits of my labor. etc also income tax needs to be abolished.

@hajime20250823 Unfortunately in a lot of areas, vending mechines get heavily vandalized. I tried putting some in public parks near my areas but they would get destroyed by people. And i didn’t have money to continue it.

@Zaeryth @knerble Yeah. I ended up losing mine due to no longer feeling safe at the job due to a co worker psycally assaulting me and them downplaying the situation. the people involved ended up getting fired after a few months but I haven’t heard back from the new manager

Im close to hitting a year and a half at this job and they are pushing me to apply elsewhere for higher positions.. yeah that world is gone now. Im lucky to have a job and ill be clinging to it for now

@CaptByDefault @knerble At least mine were determined to help me and got to see the struggle firsthand.. I also know I didnt mention it in my reply above but because of my Homeland security degree my family was ITCHING for me to get those ICE bonuses. I refused to apply for obvious reasons

@May_Roma I don’t like sweat pants. Those are for indoor use. I like wearing cargo pants with a T shirt and a hat. I don’t know if that would work in Japan.

@noctambule5202 Yeah. Those were pretty great cars too. Japanese engines were also very reliable in the 90s . My honda accord took a lot of abuse on the road and it still can work dispite some of its problems. I love them as much as I do older American cars
