An overnight warming bus will be available as of 9 p.m. tonight, due to the extreme cold weather. Travelling between Carmichael Outreach and Awasiw, the warming bus will provide a safe place for those escaping the declining temperatures.

Family Day is on Monday. The centre will be closed during the day but the Warming Centre will remain open in the evening during regular hours.

This is heartbreaking. Would I have driven by, maybe afraid to stop? We need to have more concern for our fellow man 😢 To begin this change for myself, I’ve set up a regular monthly donation to @CarmichaelOR. They do fantastic work to help the homeless in our community.
