Spider-Man: No Way Home Is The ONLY Reason Daredevil: Born Again Exists 🚨
Marvel TV boss Brad Winderbaum just revealed on the Daredevil: Born Again podcast (14 hours ago) that Charlie Cox's cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home is the sole reason Daredevil: Born Again got greenlit.
"The second I heard that Charlie was going to be in Spider-Man, I was like, we've got to make the show. It opened the door. Once the door was ajar, I got a crowbar in there and started to inch it open."
The No Way Home cameo wasn't part of a grand plan. It was a fun Easter egg.
But when fans went INSANE over 30 seconds of Matt Murdock catching a brick, Marvel realized they had to bring Daredevil back properly.
