Nobody in Europe cares any longer what he says. It was a big mistake to agree to the ridiculously unfair trade deal that he demanded last year. Since then Europe has learned that the unreasonable demands just keep coming and never stop. So we just ignore it or say no, and he is not going to do anything about it. He is an old man yelling at clouds, and we dont care.

There is good reason to worry about the safety of our negotiators in Pakistan. The country is armed and dangerous and the government is not fully in control. Previous high level visits were short and they involved decoy aircraft, as when then-President Clinton surreptitiously changed airplanes so no one would know which one he was on. The USSS did not like President Bush going there in 2006. The Secret Service will be tested this trip. So too will the military that supports this mission. Pray for the safety of our negotiators, including the VP, and for their success.
