I want to give you guys some facts about General Chappie James. He wasn’t a “DEI” hire—he was a complete badass that had to overcome MORE than any white pilot. Did 178 combat missions—that’s like 7 bomber tours on a B-17 in WWII. His medal count? Impeccable. 3 Distinguished Flying Crosses, 14 Air Medals, Two Legions of Merit, and a Defense Distinguished Service Medal. One of the original Tuskegee Airmen, the first four-star African American General. Hegseth couldn’t sniff the level of soldiering and warrior that was in Chappie’s DNA. God bless him. And Hegseth took down his picture from a hallway like a racist little child, which is what he is.

“They told us voting is a privilege, not a right.” That’s what I heard from students at North Carolina A&T who are fighting to protect access to the ballot. These young leaders are organizing, speaking out, and refusing to let anyone take their power, and I am so proud of them.

You can be repulsed by the general idea that there's a trillionaire while also being repulsed by the specific idea that it's Elon Musk.

@CharlesRLee83 We can. I can’t say that justice came quickly for those little girls. My opinion is that leaps and bounds have been accomplished since the early 60’s. I know that this case is seen by all involved thru different lens. Neither race is a monolithic bloc.

@MrOxMix Justice for the 4 little girls came 3 decades later. The klan didn’t disappear. They became the white concerned citizens, later becoming Council of Conservative Citizens (klan in suits). I never advocated for anyone white or black to be murdered. We can at least agree on that

Okay, you got me on the two church bombings. Again I will say unequivocally that all of these were atrocities. If I'm not mistaken the first two led to massive national outrage and calls for justice. People were held accountable which I know was a huge change. Laws were changed and the Klan has virtually disappeared (except for the SPLC sponsored groups). My point is that these things shouldn't be used as a pretext for riots or murder of innocent whites.
