It blends realism with "fast paced action" and it feels extremely awkward with crappy controls.
ToTK feels WAY better than this.
Exploring is the only thing I really like at the moment because there's quite a lot of stuff that I've come across and I've only played about 9hrs.

I just finished this boss fight and honestly DSP is just dumb.
The boss hits hard but once I figured out I could use Force Palm on it during it's tunneling moves, it was a wrap.

At first I was pretty hyped about the game but my hyped died down quite a bit. Its not a bad game but there are some problems I have with it

I dont think its a 10/10 sweep but I think there is definitely fun here.

@Chaser_Tech I've seen a lot of reports about how the control scheme on controller is just incomprehensible, so I'm glad it's not just me

@LooN196 I never played red dead redemption but I understand assassin's creed combat somewhat since its present in a lot of other games.
I can see it tbh. I need more time with the game but it feels very "attack and press LB when someone is about to attack you." But with more options.

@Chaser_Tech i heard a comparison of the combat is red dead redemption 2 feeling movement mixed with assassin's creed rpg combat......how true is that?

@PandaKingEX ngl i just see another open world game that just wants the player to fuck around and I'm totally fine with that.
That's why I liked BoTW/ToTK/Skyrim and etc.

People keep comparing games that actually have a niche focus in design that might not appeal to everyone but work for their audience to a game that is just trying too hard to do anything and everything and that’s the exact reason that the game is getting criticized.

I think gamers will have a lot of fun with Crimson Desert! Games like Wukong, Stellar Blade, Lies of P were a lot of fun too!

@BionicDance @JadeCole2112 I mean I don't expect much from someone that doesn't understand people aren't keen on AI because bad quality slop gets pushed out far more than stuff with substance.
Judging from this thread alone, you just want a reason to push back.
