Here is a list of foreigners whom Evelyn Cheluget, the Director General of Immigration Services, has issued Kenyan passports to travel with. The orders to issue the passports came from the Statehouse. Number 6 is Zimbabwe’s Wicknel Chivayo, who is supposed to help Kasongo steal the 2027 elections. To apply for a Kenyan passport, you need a Kenyan identity card and an e-citizen account, and you have to pay. Whose account was used for this illegal passports application? Did they use a zero token where no payment was made? Why were the immigration officers told the applicants were Very Important Persons (VIPs) and to issue express passports? Please Google the list of names of those Ruto gave Kenyan passports. Post what you find on the comments. Selling Kenyan passports is evil but selling our passports to criminals is pure demonic behaviour! Ruto Must Go!

Here is a silver lining for anyone going back to school in, say, their 30s and beyond. A short 🧵 1. You arrive with self-knowledge and a clearer sense of why you are there. That changes how you learn, what you tolerate, and what you take seriously.

Its time to hold these corrupt politicians and fraudsters accountable We ALL work way too hard and pay too much in taxes for this to be happening, the fraud must be stopped.

For years, whispers have circulated at my alma mater, Alliance Girls High School, about a teacher who allegedly blurred boundaries with his students. Now, after 4 years of reporting - and a legal battle to silence it - this investigation is finally public. africauncensored.substack.com/p/the-teacher-…

When David Ndii calls young people stupid, telling them that they will die in the streets like the many we have lost in previous protests, it shows how far removed the people in the government are from the reality on the ground. Ndii ideally should know better, but even fools grow old. To understand how we ended up with Gen Z protests, one has to read @TweetingPundit 's Generation Occupy, one of the most definitive and instructive books about that crazy June of 2024. Ruto entered State House at the worst possible time for anyone to be the president of Kenya. The country has been collapsing under the weight of corruption, bad choices, wrong priorities, and whoever was going to take over in 2022 had little room for jokes. 2022 needed a completely different mindset of politics. Not Oscar Sudi or Kimani Ichungwa type of brainlessness. Not wheelbarrows. Not rallies. Not PR. As Okolla explains in his book, the stalled upward mobility of millennials and the failure to launch of Gen Z are the biggest existential angst in the country. The government doesn't get this. At all. President Kibaki let the genie out of the bottle by showing the immense potential that Kenya has. For the first time, we could dream big. During his presidency, everything suddenly became possible. Finishing college, getting a job, buying land in Nairobi satellite towns, and building your maisonette, all markers of adulthood were possible up to 2015. We took a wrong turn in 2013. I take this early opportunity to remind you to pick leaders less interested in building their personal fortune and pick people who have conquered that primitive greed of material things. Someone who knows what is enough. Someone who doesn't convert the country into personal property, without caring that resources are finite to be shared responsibly and equitably. Most millenials lost their jobs, their marriages, and many have been auctioned. Career growth is now a myth. The business environment is toxic, choking under stupid taxes, silly regulations, high costs of production, and running. Gen Zs have been less lucky. More than half of them graduating from college can't get employment. And there is no possibility that their fortunes of changing as long as long as William Ruto is the president. All Ruto's projects will never translate to anything substantive, besides his bank account fattening. Everyone knows this, including government bloggers. Okolla says it right. When you are a 25-year-old graduate, no job, your older sibling who is almost 30 has never been employed, dad never finished building that house in Kitengela, and now he has a debilitating lifestyle disease that is draining the family resources, you have every right to show up and demonstrate. There is no way out. We have more than 5 million young people who are restless, jobless, and have no hope. Guns will not stop them. Military tanks will not stop them. Until the government understands the generational nightmarish existence of millennials and Gen Z, they will never know peace. For those who want to understand why the young are restless, please grab the book pale @NuriaStore-Your Store or call 0774229705 for your copy. There is no excuse for ignorance.

Folks, Finance Bill 2025 is out! The last time we saw Finance Bill close to this lean in pages was in 2021 (47 pages) & that was coming on the back of two COVID-19 induced Tax Laws legislations. Some key highlights from my reading. A 🧵

In 2013, when the government sought to silence Shackles of Doom, a bold play by Cleophas Malala performed by Butere Girls, I took a stand. I filed Petition No. 192 of 2013, and the High Court, in a decisive ruling by Justice David Majanja, affirmed that students have the right to speak, to challenges, and to create. The ban was struck down. Now, over a decade later, Echoes of War by the same Butere girls, faces similar resistance at the national level. This is not just about one play, it’s about defending the very right to free expression in our education system. The executive must understand that our Constitution guarantees freedom of thought and expression and is not guaranteed by permission. This isn’t a matter of opinion, it’s the law. The classroom is not a cage. Our stages must remain free. The 2013 ruling stands as a reminder that no government can silence the voices of the youth and its citizens. We will not stand by while those in power attempt to stifle creativity, expression and the right to challenge the status quo. Let them speak, create and inspire without fear of retribution! Too many people spend their lives being dutiful descendants instead of good ancestors. The responsibility of each generation is not to please their predecessors. It's to improve things for their offspring. It's more important to make your children proud than your parents proud. -Adam McGrant

I have known comrade Okoiti Omtatah for over a decade. I knew of him in 2008 when he chained himself at Vigilance House (Police Headquarters) after the 2007 post-election violence. As a photographer, l covered him during his days as a radical street activist. We became comrades, and friends in the struggle after l quit the newsroom and became an activist. Omtatah is a believer in don’t raise your voice but raise your argument maxim. Even in the streets, he speaks bold truths softly. He is arguably one of the most consistent, and effective activists Kenya is lucky to have alive today. From his days in the streets to the senate, you can always trust that he has the people in his heart. He has continuously defended the common man with integrity, even almost getting murdered. He lost his front tooth to the Kenya mafia after refusing millions of shillings in bribes to withdraw a case. One of the secrets to his courage is that he is a man of faith with an unshakeable belief in God. Just like Jesus Christ, you will find him in the company of sinners, but he will not sin, nor judge the sinners, and that level of emotional intelligence is needed in leadership. He doesn’t wear his faith as a sign of superiority but with a humble spirit of service. His streets and courtroom activism have benefited millions of Kenyans, and it will be wise to repay that trust by electing him as president. Omtatah is the people’s servant and highly favoured to be Kenya’s next president. Happy birthday my friend, and comrade @OkiyaOmtatah

We are at a pivotal moment in our nation's history, and the call to serve has never been more urgent. After careful consideration and consultations with trusted advisors, community leaders, and citizens from all walks of life, I am pleased to announce the formation of a Presidential Exploratory Committee. This committee will thoroughly assess the viability of my candidacy for the 2027 presidential election. Its primary focus will be to engage with the public, gather input on the most pressing challenges facing our nation, and determine how best to address these issues with bold and innovative leadership. The road ahead requires thoughtful preparation, and this exploratory phase is a crucial step in ensuring that our vision for the future aligns with the hopes and aspirations of Kenyans. I am committed to listening, learning, and building a platform that reflects the values and priorities of our citizens. Together, we can shape a brighter future. Thank you for your support as we embark on this journey.

For years, American PR firm v-Fluence has worked with a network of players in the agrochemical industry to ensure that the use of harmful pesticides in various countries, including Kenya continues. Despite mounting evidence of the harm they cause, v-Fluence and its partners have downplayed the risks of pesticides and discredited environmentalists pushing for an end to their sale. One such pesticide is paraquat, linked to cases of Parkinson’s disease. Why does this PR firm run a secret members-only website for some of the world’s largest pesticide companies? Find out this Sunday in our upcoming documentary, #PoisonPR
