@tweetertucker I don’t think personally it’s the number of awards. The delivery was not great, the Head of Michelin on video not in person bringing one star winners on stage in groups of 4 which is such a big moment for them it should be celebrated, it all felt pretty poor tbh

@Chef1 Think because of recent years of new 2 stars and 3 stars and the introduction to new awards like the green star and the key this year felt underwhelming but sometimes it’s needed to keep the value of these accolades. Perhaps the awards ceremony needs more inspiration though

@scottabmfc I think the overwhelming consensus was it was disappointing on many levels, and could have been a much need boost to the sector and it was very flat!

They need someone from the industry to present it.
There are so many more 2 stars and a 3
Star that deserved to be promoted.
Great to see a lot of new ones stars though.

@rossathome @wyahaw Kerridge Bar and Grill is situated in 5-Star hotel so not really a like for like on running cost, I suspect Tom’s wage bill would be far higher.

£21.50 for duck liver pate.
£44.50 for fish and chips.
Cheese £19.50.
Creme Brulee £14.50.
You probs dont pay for your meals but it'd better be good.
