Foreign Office warns against travel to/through the UAE. That includes merely changing planes at Dubai or Abu Dhabi airports.
Yet thousands of British travellers do just that every day. Emirates and Etihad are selling tickets for flights through their hubs.

Emirates says full capacity is coming “within days”... currently at ~61% pre-war schedule after 46,000+ cancellations since late February(subject to airspace and ops approvals). Good for passengers stuck or rerouted... the airline is trying to push hard to get back to normal.

Today I used the Emirates terminal in Dubai.
Contrary to the videos circulating on social media, there was hardly any congestion.
Check-in was extremely smooth and swift, and the flight departed on time. The aircraft itself was full.
Just a reminder: don’t believe everything you see on social media.

De luchthavens Dubai herstellen zich snel. De afgelopen 90 uur werden 1140 vluchten afgehandeld op DXB en DWC, waardoor duizenden reizigers op hun bestemming aankwamen.
De activiteiten stabiliseren zich nu het vliegverkeer geleidelijk weer op gang komt. Stilaan ook in Abu Dhabi.

I’m excited to announce that my upcoming book, American MiG Pilot: Inside the Top Secret USAF Red Eagles MiG Squadron, will be released this coming February 10th, and is currently available for pre-order on Amazon.
This is my story of the three years I spent in the 4477th Test and Evaluation Squadron (TES) and flying our Top Secret Soviet MiG-21s & MiG-23s against America’s frontline fighter pilots and their aircraft, teaching them to be the best they could be against the real thing and the elite pilots that flew them. This program, called CONSTANT PEG, was arguably the best kept military secret of the Cold War.

A. There are no US tanks in Norway. The only tanks that were there belonged to the USMC and they divested their tanks completely years ago.
B. There have been no USAF cargo flights from Norway to any location in the Middle East.

2/7 Air Defense Move Update The pace of flights appears to be increasing, with a few aircraft returning to Texas for another pickup after completing a delivery to the Middle East. Several C-5s have joined the effort as well. The first flight into Pope AAF at Fort Bragg, NC to pick up associated with this mission is currently in progress. Bragg is home to the 108th Air Defense Artillery Brigade who operates PATRIOT systems. The deployment is not yet complete with only Muwaffaq Al Salti and Prince Sultan air bases receiving enough flights for a full battery. Origins: 40-Ft. Hood 15-Ft. Bliss 6-Kadena AB 1-Anniston 1-Pope AAF Destinations: 23-Muwaffaq Al Salti 13-Prince Sultan AB 8-Ali Al Salem 4-Al Udeid 3-Isa Total: 63 completed or in progress

OLVE 48 has departed Offutt AFB, likely en route to RAF Mildenhall before potentially continuing on to the Middle East. There has been a noticeable absence of an RC-135 variant at Mildenhall for a few months now.
A C-17 flight from Offutt to Mildenhall was recording in my Middle East Activity update yesterday.
Unlike OLIVE 29, this is a full mission capable aircraft.

#USAF United States Air Force Boeing TC-135 Stratolifter 1x #AE01D3 62-4129 - OLIVE 29 OLIVE 29 has departed RAF Mildenhall after a stop over, now headed East over Germany. The TC-135 is a training variant of the RC-135, so this is likely touring a number of U.S. and Allied bases in Europe, rather than deploying to the Middle East, or perhaps on a mock sortie along the border with Russia. They stopped at RAF Waddington, home base of the Royal Air Force Rivet Joint fleet, before heading to Mildenhall this morning.
