The Club are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of lifelong supporter Simon Hanks, fondly known as “Hanksy.” Simon passed away on Thursday morning after a courageous battle with illness. A devoted supporter, Hanksy was always passionate about the club, especially encouraging young local players as they progressed into the first team. He was the son of Derek Hanks, who played a key role both on and off the pitch and was an integral part of the committee that oversaw our Vase victories in the 1970s. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Simon’s family and friends during this difficult time. In his honour, we will hold a minute’s applause before Saturday's game against Lewes. Rest in peace, Hanksy.

We are very saddened to hear of the passing of former @onedirection star Liam Payne.
Liam trained at Billericay Town FC in April 2022 in preparation for @socceraid, for which he was England Captain. Our sincerest thoughts, prayers, and best wishes go out to his friends, family, and millions of fans. RIP Liam.
