@videotechuk_ @WAIVRaps Do you have video transfer rate set to automatic? My C3 shows YCBR422. Ps5 doesnt have bandwith for rgb 4k 120 hz. O was able to reproduce your issue when I changed video transfer rate to -1 while the game was running. Dropped to 1080p.

@WAIVRaps You might have the bug that’s rendering the game at 1080p in all modes (turn off 120Hz in PS5 settings). Some TVs are defaulting to 1080p I have this issue currently too. Turning 120Hz renders the game at 4K in quality mode

A Crimson Desert fejlesztőjének, a Pearl Abyssnek a részvényei majdnem 30%-ot estek a játék kritikáinak megjelenését követően. A fejlesztők és a részvényesek 90% körüli összértékelésre számítottak, ezzel szemben a játék ~80%-on áll. This obsession with “realism” needs to die. I’m officially done with it. It needs to be put in the ground and left to rot with how it’s been used to push such horrendously useless technology. Art styles and art direction should be the new standard going forward. Anyone saying photorealism is worth it is being disingenuous because they want the tech to do the hard carrying for their lack of creativity. Absolute nonsense. Screw flying too close to the Sun, you dived into that head first.

@hsh1899 I’m not sure if I surprised you in a good or bad way. The geometry remains the same; what DLSS 5 adds is much better lighting-more realistic and coherent. As for the artistic side, it’s up to the developer since they’ll have control over it. In older titles, treat it like a mod

I've seen the full Digital Foundry breakdown. It blows any path tracing out of the water; really impressive stuff. Wait till you see DS2 running on DLSS 5. Devs will be in control of the tech. And for old titles, nobody's making you turn it on. Simple.

@kimmonismus Did you see the video? And imagine working on a game 5 years and then a genai filter destroys the whole art style conistency. I am pro ai but this dlss 5 is a disaster. Not to mention most of the gamers dont want photorealism. In the end all games will look the same with dlss 5.

I seriously dont get the hate for DLSS5. Even though DLSS5 does enhance the appearance to some extent, the result is still a much more natural look. I'm well aware of the argument that this alters the developers' style, but 1) everyone is free to disable DLSS, and 2) I hardly believe that visible improvements fundamentally change the atmosphere. So far, every image has been fine by me.

Az egész olyan irányba megy amivel én már nem igazán tudok azonosulni. Szerintem ez kezd kellemetlen lenni. Valahogy számomra ez nem technológiai újítás hanem egy rossz mélyrepülés kezdő szárnycsapásai.
