ARTICLE | 250503 Though reorganized from seven members into six, no sense of absence was felt. If anything, it seemed as though the number didn’t matter at all. It was a night where ENHYPEN and ENGENEs pulsed intensely toward one another. On the 2nd, ENHYPEN held their 4th world tour, BLOOD SAGA, at KSPO DOME in Songpa-gu, Seoul. The Seoul concert, which opened the tour, sold out completely as soon as presales began, signaling a strong and promising start. As its title suggests, BLOOD SAGA captures the eternal “blood narrative” between ENHYPEN and ENGENEs. Since debut, the group has built a “vampire” storyline, and even when faced with the cold constraints of the world, they break through them with instinct and boldness, unfolding a grand future shared with “you.” Amid thunderous cheers, ENHYPEN appeared on stage in all-black outfits reminiscent of vampires and opened Day 2 with their new song “Knife,” released this past January. They continued with performances of “Daydream,” “Outside,” and “Brought The Heat Back,” fully declaring their true “blood narrative.” Sunghoon said, “We burned it all down yesterday. I think the key point today will be seeing whether ENGENEs can have even more fun than yesterday,” naturally drawing out the crowd’s energy. Jay added, “We gave it our all yesterday, but we came today resetting our mindset as if it’s our first concert,” joking, “We’ll perform like it’s our first time, so I hope you all also enjoy it like it’s your first time seeing ENHYPEN. Jump hard, lose your voices, and even get sore legs.” Ni-ki shared, “Since this is a concert we create together, I hope the energy between ENGENEs and us matches well,” while Jake said, “You took precious time to come here, so we’ll give it everything we have. I hope you enjoy yourselves.” Performances of “No Way Back,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” and “No Doubt” showcased ENHYPEN’s signature powerful and conceptual performance style. Beyond title tracks, one reason fans attend concerts is to experience B-sides live. With a setlist including “Sleep Tight,” “Bills,” “Moonstruck,” “Paranormal,” and “Blockbuster,” ENHYPEN displayed their playful charm and diverse vocals. The members also approached fans more closely via the extended stage, connecting with them up close. During “Go Big or Go Home” and “Future Perfect,” powerful group chants filled the venue, and everyone stood together, creating a festival-like atmosphere as they became one with ENHYPEN. The section featuring “Stealer,” a long-awaited song by fans, along with “Drunk-Dazed” and “Bite Me,” embodied the concert’s title BLOOD SAGA most vividly, expressing a “fated blood” and the most vampiric form of love. After running nonstop for about 90 minutes, ENHYPEN showed a contrasting charm, joking, “We’re hungry,” and “We’re really hungry,” drawing laughter. Soon after, they added a slightly chilling remark, “Are you ready to taste blood?” before closing the main set with “Fate” and “Criminal Love.” But ENHYPEN didn’t end there. As if they had been waiting, they returned to the stage in response to fans’ encore chants. This time, riding trolleys around the venue, they moved closer to fans and, true to their reputation as “B-side masters,” filled the encore with sweeter tracks like “Lost Island,” “XO,” “Not For Sale,” and “Helium.” Toward the end of the concert, leader Jungwon said, “Seeing ENGENEs enjoy themselves makes me feel that when you do something sincerely, that sincerity is truly conveyed,” adding humbly, “I wonder if it’s right to say this so early in the tour, but I don’t think any performance can be 100% perfect. Still, while yesterday and today may not have been perfect, I can say they were truly sincere performances.” He continued, “All six members gave their full 100%. I’m confident. After the first day, we said, ‘We gave everything, tomorrow might be trouble,’ but today we’re pouring everything out again. It’s all thanks to ENGENEs,” expressing his gratitude to the fans.
