Characters are no longer crafted for the narrative but shoehorned in to check off diversity boxes, often with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer. Remember when villains were just villains, not coded representations of societal ills? Now, every antagonist must embody some real-world prejudice, turning every narrative into a thinly veiled sermon rather than a story. And let's not forget the gamers themselves - accused of bigotry for merely preferring the classics or for daring to critique the new, forced inclusivity. The woke virus has sucked the joy out of gaming. Instead of innovation in gameplay or pushing the boundaries of graphics and storytelling, we're stuck with games that prioritize virtue signaling over creating memorable experiences. Developers are more concerned with their social media clout and review scores on inclusivity checklists than with the actual quality of their product. What was once an industry of passion has turned into a battleground for cultural politics, where fun is secondary to ideology. The saddest part? This isn't making games better; it's just making them bland, predictable, and joyless.
