@thecopyguyy Zoe: This is something I learned as an apprentice and has stuck with me. Leave ego at the door. There will always be someone who's written more, for longer, or more widely on the topic. Learn what what you can and keep an open mind.

What's the best piece of advice you've received on your copywriting journey?

@Nicolascole77 Zoe: The first one resonates a lot. If your solution works, you aren't selling a good or service, you're providing a permanent answer, and the customer can grow past the problem. Thanks for sharing!

Copywriting tips to hang on your wall: 1. Don't sell. Help the customer transform. 2. Ditch formal language. Be simple. 3. Be a painkiller, not a vitamin. 4. Speak to 1 person—not "everyone." 5. Emphasize benefits, not features. 6. Share 1 shocking stat. 7. Be clear, not clever.
