It’s up to the police to earn the trust of the Irish community, not for the Irish community to blindly support an organisation that has suppressed, beaten, killed, framed and ignored them for generations.

I agree with John Boutcher about the need for a Public debate about the PSNI, in my community they are seen as inept & not reflective of our society. They’ve a lot to do to EARN respect

@cristofle @electionsjoe Agree with that. One thing though from the teaser is that the Hogwarts they’ve created for the show looks other worldly. Like I imagine it. Whereas in the movies it was like a nice fancy castle.

@electionsjoe I think once you move past the first two, the change will be much more apparent. The first two movies were VERY faithful to the books (although I do see scenes here missing in 1st film). As the books got longer, that got harder.

Every now and then Starmer does remind you that he is a brilliant, brilliant man. Intelligent, thorough and decent. I think the problem is that a man born to be Foreign Secretary or Lord Chancellor or Home Secretary has been elevated to the Premiership. And he doesn’t suit it.
