SHOOTING INCIDENT- Officers were dispatched at approximately 4:16 PM to Westridge Blvd and Hwy 378 for a shots fire call. One person has been detained.Officers found two persons with critical injuries and were transported to the hospital. Officers are investigating this incident.

TRAFFIC ALERT - Hwy 378 & Westridge Blvd At approximately 5:46am, officers were dispatched to a collision of a vehicle and a pedestrian on a bicycle. One person has critical injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

Our officers just completed advanced training for high risk situations. We train hard so if things get serious, we are ready. Conway deserves prepared, not panicked.

We checked the neighborhood vibes. Driveways full. Cars in park. Zero audition tapes for NASCAR. In the words of Adele “Hello from the parked side.” Be like your neighbors.

Strong work by K-9 Officer Aida and Officer West! Their traffic stops so far in 2026 have led to multiple arrests and the confiscation of drugs, paraphernalia, firearms, and cash. 👏 Kudos to their continued efforts to help keep Conway safe!

Officers were dispatched at approximately 12:45 p.m. in reference to a reported shots fired call at the SureStay Motel on Waccamaw Drive near the Highway 501 Bypass. One person is currently in custody. There are no reported injuries at this time.

Conway Police are seeking help locating Brenda Harps, approx. 70 years old. Last seen Dec 30 near 1007 Tin Top Alley in the Temple Street area. Brown and white jacket, black sweatpants. She has a developmental disability and may need assistance. Call (843)248-1790.

Conway Chamber Christmas Parade Road Closures The annual Conway Christmas Parade is this Saturday, December 13 at 10:00am. Below is a map of the parade staging and parade route.

CONWAY POLICE INVESTIGATING THREAT AT CONWAY HIGH SCHOOL Officers are currently on scene investigating a threat made to Conway High School. Conway Police will have an increased presence.

For the December 4 Conway Christmas Tree Lighting🎄: Parking on Main Street and Third Avenue in the green zone closes at noon. Main Street, Highway 501 Business and Third Avenue close to traffic at 3 pm. Please plan your route and allow extra time to arrive.

🚓 Officer Finch joined Shoreline Behavioral Health to talk with a local church youth group about the dangers of vaping. The kids were engaged and receptive to this important discussion! 💬
