Between last week and today, I've seen more than 10 videos of vvomen exposed for maltr€@ting their maids and all their husbands live in the same house with them yet these vvomen perpetuate these evuls for years with impunity. It got me thinking, what exactly happened to men? How come we have these vveak men who don't have authority in their homes. Men who relinquished their powers and positions to their vvives and have become afraid of their vvives. They would rather turn a blind eye to the evul their vvives continuously perpetuate than confront them. How did some men go from being the heads of the home to becoming pushovers? You let a vvoman you married with your own money ride over you in your home? As in, you counted money, negotiated with her people, paid for the goats, the cows, the wrappers, drinks, yams, and a thousand other items on the list but you can't open your mouth and call a spade a spade? If you question these men, they'll ask you, if you expect them to report their vvives to the police? Nobody said you should report your vvife, the fact that she was able to do that under your nose shows how vveak you're. What happened to sending the maid home? One of my uncle's vvives tried it, my uncle came back and saw the hot water burns on the girl's body, he took her to the hospital. When the girl recovered, my uncle packed the girl's things and returned her to her parents. Another vvoman from Abia state has been arrested for repeatedly bvrning the skin of her house help with hot knife until his flesh began to peel. The other day, a vvoman was sharing how difficult it is to get a house help these days. That she has been looking for a maid for 3 years but all to know avail. She shared this with me to assist her if I know any çhīld but I know her type. All the maids she had in the past left with broken nose, face, bandaged arm, disfigured body. She has a reputation for causing grievous harm on all her maids. She didn't understand how happy I was, learning that vvomen are learning to protect their çhīldrēñ from her. We know of the bandits in the forests but some men are married to house bandits as vvives. What would make a pregnant vvoman do this to another vvoman's çhīld? When you want to see vvomen who are strategic with abvse, come down to the East. They attend church the most yet: they starve their helps yet send them on a million errand a day, burn their skin with hot metal, knives, plastics, etc. They are the ones to send a help out of the house by 2am, to lock them in a room, to pour hot water on them, overwork them, let them sleep by 12am and wake up by 3am. If the maids are intolerable, send them back untouched and learn to live without maids.
