The childbearing gap between liberals and conservatives is absolutely exploding and has now reached 2 to 1 among women 25-35. In 1980, there was hardly any difference. Conservative fertility actually increased over 40 years, showing the power of pronatal culture on one side!

Family Studies showed % w/ children by ideology. But it understates the gap. Mean children captures both who has kids AND how many. 2020s, ages 25-35: Men: Con 1.06 vs Lib 0.35 Women: Con 1.67 vs Lib 0.87

US bombs are radicalizing a new generation of Iranians. This little boy will learn who killed his mother, and, if history is any lesson, will likely grow up hating America and vowing revenge. Now multiply this thousands of times over (hundreds of thousands if this war continues for long). Bombing, death, destruction never fix problems; they make them worse. Ave Maria 🙏

Trump and Israel killed this child’s mother today in Mehrshahr, Iran — dropping a bomb on their home in the middle of the night. A terrified child calling for his mom who will never answer again.

The cost of the Iran disaster is now estimated at $2.8 billion per day just for ammunition. For what?? Slaughtering school girls, carpet bombing civilians, shutting down the Straits, tanking the global economy & sending us charging toward nuclear war. washingtonpost.com/national-secur…

It was just about 18 months ago that the US Navy seemed like it could not get out of its own way--rusty ships sailing into each other, shooting down friendly aircraft, overweight DEI admirals and a sense of a complete loss of mission focus. Yet--today--the US Navy once again looks like the most lethal and efficient naval fighting force since the US fleet that won WWII. Was the initial impression from 18 months ago wrong? Or does great leadership from POTUS and SecWar really make that much of a difference?

@sdcordovez @pati_marins64 I’m not sure Iran has hypersonic missiles at this point. They may have had a few in inventory, but I don’t think they’ve launched one.

@Crewzer2day @pati_marins64 It is amazing how we normalize that preemptive strike it is a good thing if the US do, and is terrorist attack if someone else do. Personally, im tired of USA and his sense of freedom of the world. Hope you all die soon.

Aircraft Carriers vs. Hypersonic ASBM The Fattah missile, which Iran recently converted to an anti-ship variant, has a warhead carrying about 500 kg of high-powered explosives, combined with immense kinetic energy from its high-speed descent (equivalent to 10-20 tons of TNT from kinetics alone). This generates a destruction radius of up to 200 meters, including the fireball and fragmentation, equivalent to a small tactical nuclear explosion. According to Israeli media reports, the impacts of Fattah missiles created craters up to 15 meters in diameter and 5 meters deep. All of this is based on the land impacts of these missiles. After conversion to anti-ship, things only get worse. Anti-ship warheads typically use tandem charges: an initial penetrating charge (shaped charge or kinetic penetrator) to breach the armor, followed by a main explosion inside the ship. Imagine an explosion equivalent to dozens of tons of explosives, two to four decks inside an aircraft carrier. This would implode the ship from within, generating multiple fires and secondary explosions. Even if it doesn't sink, the ship will be consumed by fire, turning into a flaming bathtub, especially if the missile detonates the fuel tanks. A single hypersonic ballistic missile would mission-kill any ship and probably sink that ship. But it’s different with an aircraft carrier, which would probably require more than a single shot to sink. The issue is not the chance of survival, but rather denying the guidance capability of these missiles, which is primarily provided by radars, LEO satellites, or drones. In a conflict with a country possessing such missiles, once the fleet allows real-time tracking, it will be vulnerable. The strategy is to take down enemy radars and maintain A2/AD (Anti-Access/Area Denial). And in this regard, the Americans have far more tools than Iran, which will still need to keep its drones in the sky all the time, but that doesn't make it any less of a great threat, and American aircraft carriers will have to operate at a distance. The sinking could potentially bring more problems than solutions in the face of thousands of deaths and the pressure; the USA would consider all options. The consequences of sinking an American aircraft carrier would escalate the war to levels never before imagined.
