I sympathize with $BTC Maxis to an extent, I started mining Bitcoin in 2011 when it was $7 so I have heard of every "new/next" Bitcoin since then.
However, gotta be careful not to paint yourself into a corner with "Boy who cried Wolf" syndrome - eventually, someone is going to be telling the truth, in this case its $KAS - Not that it will replace or is the next or new $BTC, it simply finishes what Satoshi started - Orange is great for Digital Gold, Store of Value, first mover advantage, ETF exposure, brand recognition.
Orange sucks, however, at actually transacting.
Therefore simultaneous 100ms blocks decentralized Nakamoto consensus opens up new possibilities for DLTs that $BTC will never learn, its impossible.
Instead of a bus coming once every 10 mins to pick up transactions, $KAS has 10 Ubers taking Tx's every second - its simply progress of technology that open minded people embrace.
