Now that the @megaeth ICO is over and we’re all waiting for the results, I wanted to share a quick thought - especially for anyone into web3 gaming. Let’s be real, crypto gaming is in a pretty rough spot right now. I’ve invested in a bunch of projects and played plenty of them, and it’s honestly tough to find something that’s actually fun and also has an economy that works. It’s a hard balance to pull off. Lately I’ve been leaning more toward card games as the type of thing that could bring some new energy to the space. They’re simple enough to understand, but still deep and competitive - and they make sense for on-chain economies. One game I’ve been enjoying lately is @Showdown_TCG . It’s kind of like Texas Hold’em, but with Action Cards that totally change the dynamics and add another layer of strategy. It’s already fun to play, but what’s even cooler is where it’s headed - the team plans to make the Action Cards into NFTs, and with how fast MegaETH is, maybe one day all the moves could even happen fully on-chain. And since there’s still an airdrop incentive for people who joined the MegaETH ICO, I’m guessing there are a lot of web3 gaming folks waiting around right now. I am very excited for AI season on @monad . AI applications, like autonomous agents or on-chain model training, demand instant responses. Monad hits 10,000+ TPS far surpassing Ethereum's limits. This enables AI agents to verify billions of claims or execute trades without delays. For instance, @miranetwork partnered with Monad specifically for its low-latency execution to handle AI truth-verification at scale, where slower chains would choke. I would love to see projects on Monad building AI agents to execute yield farming, arbitrage, or leveraged trading. Make AI agents to use dashboards to track top gainers, whale activity, or bridge volumes, and set alerts etc So many ways to go with AI on Monad as if there is perfect chain for it then it must be Monad.

I didn’t post much about @virtuals_io lately because tbh it felt like things were standing still. Latest Genesis upgrade shows that the team is still rethinking the bigger picture. Making tiered launches was a long due upgrade imo. Much needed change for bigger teams with backing to consider entering the ecosystem. Curious to see how it plays out once bigger teams start using it.

I’ve seen a lot of people asking for a short guide on @GTE_XYZ , so I decided to put one together. This isn’t about funding, teams, or airdrops - the @megaeth testnet is not incentivized, and this is not an airdrop guide. It’s just meant to show you what you can actually do on GTE right now and how it all works. GTE is being built as an all-in-one platform on Megaeth (a new chain still in testnet). The big advantage here is that everything is in one place: you can swap tokens, trade, launch your own token, and provide liquidity. The main focus is trading, because GTE is building three different types of markets: 1. AMM (Automated Market Maker): swaps through liquidity pools. 2. CLOB (Central Limit Order Book): standard order book trading with market and limit orders. 3. Perpetual Markets: futures-style trading with leverage, but no expiration dates (not live yet, but likely coming soon). Getting Started To start testing, you’ll need some ETH on the Megaeth testnet. The easiest way is through the faucet in the Megaeth Discord. There are also bridges and swaps from mainnet - join the Discord if you’re interested in how to get more ETH on Megaeth. Once you’ve got some ETH, head over to the GTE app and begin experimenting. What You Can Try Out 1. Swaps – Do a few token swaps first. You’ll notice how fast Megaeth transactions go through. 2. AMM & CLOB – Try making some trades. With AMM you’ll swap against pools, and with CLOB you can place both market and limit orders. 3. Dash – This is where new tokens show up when other people launch them. Keep in mind: a token needs to hit 80% of its bonding curve before liquidity can be added or trading can start in the AMM. 4. Launch a Token – You can create your own token by uploading an image, adding a name, and deploying it. To get it tradeable, you’ll need bonding - either by buying some yourself or finding others to help push it past 80%. 5. Earn – Even if you don’t launch a token, you can still provide liquidity to other tokens and test that side of the app. Final Notes Right now, that’s the core of what you can do on GTE: swapping, trading with AMM/CLOB, launching tokens, and adding liquidity. Beyond that, the best way to help is to push the platform - test features, look for bugs, stress the system, and share feedback in the Discord. Some features still don’t work perfectly, but that’s exactly what a testnet is for.
