The Justice Centre announces that the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia has struck down the province’s sweeping 2025 ban on entering the woods, ruling that the government acted unreasonably and failed to consider the Charter rights and values affected by the ban. The decision follows a constitutional challenge brought by lawyers funded by the Justice Centre on behalf of Canadian Armed Forces veteran Jeffrey Evely, who was fined $28,872.50 for walking in the woods under the province’s blanket prohibition. Constitutional lawyer Marty Moore said the ruling confirms that governments must respect fundamental freedoms, even during emergencies. “Justice Campbell appropriately warns in his decision that if the rights of individuals are not safeguarded in emergency circumstances, ‘…they can be eroded in a way that eventually affects everyone.  Experience tells us that the erosion can happen in unexpected places at an unexpected pace.’” This case was made possible by the generous support of donors. A woman was legally required to kill her baby in the third trimester because the “commissioning parents” for the surrogacy demanded it, and threatened a lawsuit. The baby was missing two fingers, so the people purchasing this precious child demanded it be aborted, per their contract. This is eugenics. It’s murder. It’s a baby trade, and it needs to be criminalized.

The Justice Centre announces that lawyers funded by the Justice Centre are representing Canadian writer Meghan Murphy in response to multiple human rights complaints filed against her by self-described transgender activist Jessica Simpson (formerly known as Jonathan Yaniv) with the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal. Ms. Murphy is a Vancouver-born writer and founder of Feminist Current, known for her commentary on women’s rights, public policy, and freedom of expression. Rapid-fired BCHRT Complaints #17 & 18, shot into my inbox late yesterday and they are DOOZIES! The Fan-testicle-less world of Yaniv just got bigger. Now a newly self-declared member of the MMIWG2SLGBTQQIPPSAA+ community Yaniv's projections as a "Metis Woman" has taken a heightened role is his mythical existence. He now declares that he is a "Racialized," "Indigenous," "Metis," "Lesbian," "Mentally and Physically disabled" "Woman" and is an "individual whose lived experience is shaped as such." Complaint #19 I think it is time to pitch a reality show; you can’t make this kind of lunacy up! It was a pretty sure bet that Complaint #19 would float into my inbox. Apparently, my use of quotes has escalated the harm associated with the words Yaniv used to justify his complaints. AND because I’m keeping all of you informed about his taxpayer funded circus, he whines that this “conduct,” being carried out in a “public forum,” somehow results in “amplifying the harm” and exposes Yaniv to further “harassment, ridicule and reputational damage.” I must admit that every time I see him assert that any person has the power to increase the “reputational damage” he has earned all on his own, I do giggle. Let’s see, there is the #WAXMYBALLS saga, the assaults and death threats, and we can’t forget the attempt to host a topless pool party for 12-year-olds, prohibiting parents and/or caregivers from attending. Then there are the thousands of calls to emergency services, the lies and perjured testimony to judges, the manipulations of law enforcement agencies… Yep maybe it is time to not give Yaniv the spotlight, but focus and expose how the system, including the courts/tribunals, sheriffs, the Crown, and the police have all catered to his lunacy out of fear of being labelled transphobic.

Of course, the comedy that has ensued online, and in the mass media, has been hilarious so imagine my response when Yaniv the Maniv’s latest complaint, #16, arrived and the prominently featured message on his email read: LITIGATION NOTICE – CS-018717 (MMIWG2SLGBTQQIPPSAA+ DISCRIMINATORY PUBLICATION AND EXISTENTIAL DENIALISM) Now Yaniv is claiming to be part of this community and I once again have committed the great crime of refusing to play a part in his fan-testical-less world. Yaniv fails to spell out what the letters stand for in his complaint, so I have taken the time to spell them out. @facepalmchris @CultureGuard Credibility is not a requirement for bringing a court or HRT case - they care mostly about the question of "Were this person's rights infringed upon" I'm glad you want to address credibility, but like... they don't do background checks before they LET people sue someone yknow?
