Slot's message to the fans: "We don’t want them to leave early. We have to perform better. We have to show now that we react after a loss like this. After all the disappointments we've had this season the fans have always been supportive and they were even today.
"They were very loud in the first half. It is up to us to react for them and for ourselves. We need to play like we did for the first 35 minutes but in moments of defending we need to be much more ruthless."
@DaveOCKOP I know he has been our best player but he was as bad as anyone today. They threw in the white towel and gave up. Zero effort from any player today
@SamueILFC To be fair, he was a shit as anyone today. Not sure i could give any of them a pass for even trying. They gave up today. Thats not Liverpool
I don’t know what he’s trying to imply here. We were 4-0 down after 57 minutes with an uninspiring performance. Fans aren’t going to stay to the end disappointed when they could get home early, especially how poor we’ve been his season.
Arne Slot on facing PSG: "We are really looking forward to that, playing against a very good side again. We want to qualify for the Champions League next season because there is plenty for us to play for.
"We have had a lot of setbacks and disappointments but that is also part of being a football player and being a human being and you have to stand there when things are not so positive and that's what it is about now.
"Players that have shown so much quality in the past now have a fantastic chance to show that again against PSG." (TNT)
HT: Man City 2 #LFC 0: Liverpool walk off looking shellshocked. Better team for most of the first half but failed to make it count and then familiar failings cost them dear. Haaland fired City ahead from the spot and then struck again when he got the better of Konate.
@JamesPearceLFC Ridiculous. Been this way now for 13 months. How many more bad spells does he need to have before the club take action. Why on earth would the next few games be huge. The season is already a writeoff and has been for a long time.
#LFC’s decision-makers remain fully supportive of Arne Slot.
But the next fortnight is huge in the context of the Dutchman’s reign.
Man City, PSG, Fulham, PSG, Everton.
If they kick on, unrest will ease. If they wilt, the noise will be hard to ignore.

@GrizzKhan There wont be any big ends to this season. More embarassing defeats are on the way. PSG, away to United. VILLA and Everton. The club are only deluding themselves that this is some kind of blip. It isn't. Change is needed
The uncertainty around the Liverpool fc structure continues with the 2 most reliable and connected journalists in Ornstein and Joyce saying Slot isn’t in any danger and that Edward’s and Hughes aren’t likely to extend their contracts. Strange time to be an LFC fan in the next few months I feel. Many don’t care how the season ends , they just want change . Some want Slot given another season. Me , I think it’s all dependant on how we finish season. Either way ,whatever you say on here will be offensive and cause anger to some lol

Liverpool announce an increase in general admission ticket prices over the next three seasons in line with inflation.
Supporters board describe decision as “extremely disappointing.”

@GrizzKhan We will have zero sympathy therefore when there is no European football next year and we are back to the pre Klopp days. They brought this on themselves
As things stand Liverpool have no plans to change coach until end of season when there will be an extensive review. With Edwards ,Hughes and Slot’s future up in the air it seems we will have to go through yet more frustration and heartache. I have no faith in current set up.

@DaveOCKOP Some serious question marks about the character of some of these players ye know. Zero pride in the shirt. Giving up and just rolling over accepting defeat is not in the Liverpool DNA. Serious questions need asked
I can take losing a game once you know everyone gave 100%, unfortunately that's not the case. It's easy to get up for a Champions League game under lights at Anfield. The best teams in the world show up for every single game. That was nothing short of pathetic from effort to lacking any sort of attacking threat until it was too late. Woeful.
There's not much else to say about this Liverpool team other than that they will surely miss out on Champions League qualification from here and fully deserve it. Injuries have played a part, but these players regularly look less fit and less well-organised than the opposition.
