LEQAA IS FREE!! We are thrilled that Leqaa Kordia, who suffered horrible treatment at the hands of Prairieland Detention Center, is finally free. Sending love and solidarity from the friends and loved ones of the Prairieland defendants.

Trans women in particular are an overrepresented demographic within the prison industrial complex.

This is just one of many instances where the state chooses to disrespect our friends. Trans inmates have also been denied HRT medication and trans identity was brought up by the prosecution in order to attempt to discredit some of the defendants.

Since we aren’t sure what the letter-writing info will be for the folks who just went through federal trial, please hold off on writing to those 9 defendants for now. We will update their addresses ASAP.

As we continue to fight for the defendants, we will be hosting Potlucks in the Park every Friday at noon starting this Friday March 20th. Come join us and support the defendants every Friday at Burk Burnett Park in Fort Worth.
