There are so many moving parts that cannot be left to chance. We cannot achieve much with talk shops without a technical committee that understands the pulse on the street, conducts policy impact assessments, and performs critical path analysis for this important policy, as mandated by the President. Israel fired missiles at Iran. We said nothing. Israel crushed Gazans under tank tracks. We said nothing. Israel killed Palestinians in the West Bank. We said nothing. Israel is murdering civilians in Lebanon. We said nothing. Now Israel is rocketing Iran. We say nothing. After all the years of screaming "Iranian bomb!" and "Muslim terrorists!" it seems like that's not the problem. Israel is the centre of 90% of the problems in the Middle East.
