@NextGenPlayer Exactly. That’s why I just find it funny that people canceling think they’re going to make a difference. They expect everyone to have their same opinions as well. If people are fine with digital then that’s okay.

The difference is simple: PC is an open platform with multiple digital storefronts competing for your business, which means better prices and more choice. On PlayStation, you're locked into the PlayStation Store. If Sony sets the price, that's the price you're expected to pay.

According to a new Bloomberg report, Microsoft has canceled the planned sequel to Avowed as part of Xbox’s recent restructuring. Instead, Obsidian Entertainment is reportedly shifting its focus to a new Fallout game led by Fallout: New Vegas director Josh Sawyer, who had previously been working on a different RPG. The project is still in its early stages, and Bloomberg says plans could change. It’s also unknown whether this will be Fallout 5, a New Vegas sequel, or another spin-off. The report also claims that around a quarter of Obsidian’s staff was laid off

@mrpyo1 They know people will switch, they just aren’t worried about it because more people will stay than switch. People are forgetting that it’s not the majority that’s throwing a tantrum over this

More reports why Sony is trying to end physical discs: - They want to cut out the middle man, to make more profit per sale (like remove walmart cuts etc) - Sony thinks the fanbase will not switch platforms, they can do what they please without losing fans - They are convinced by ignoring this issue, they fans will just accept the changes and convert to 100% digital with time. - Sony thinks they are "too big to have commination with fans". Talking to fans has no margin benefit, so they refuse to address fans and will keep doing so I have lost all trust and goodwill with PlayStation, no words what is happening right now. Horrible company
