I can choose to donate it to Malaria Consortium and save ~12 lives, but instead I invest it, looking to profit and one day buy luxury goods with it. I've decided to put my own profit first, which leads to people's deaths.
Am I guilty of twelve counts of murder? I'm not asking if it's immoral or the wrong decision, I'm asking if I'm a murderer now.

Liberals are fine with murder theft and discrimination as long as they're done systematically and not individually.

One of the reasons I am a liberal and not a leftist is that leftist morality is about power, not rights. Good actions reduce power imbalances, bad actions exacerbate them. Murder, theft, and discrimination can all be justified if they harm a “powerful” person or group. Liberals condemn these actions because they violate individual rights and dignity. Liberalism seeks equal rights, leftism seeks equal power.

@FloodingLong @jonkentcomrade Many doctors PHYSICALLY can not get approval to do something if a claim is deny’d, id argue yes, its the responsibility of all doctors to save the person anyways but the system YOU SHITLIBS fight for would put that person in jail, becuase that system allows for murder for profit

Suboptimal policy and business decisions have costs measured in human lives. But if you use the standard 'you could easily have done something different to save a life, and you didn't', 'being a person in the US with $10k and not donating it to GiveWell' is social murder.

Someone really needing a job doesn't mean their employer is the one coercing them into needing one. It's not theft.

In The Office writers were told to make the craziest opening scene of the show for this episode so people wouldn’t change the channel right after Super Bowl.
An initial wild idea was Jim losing Pam in a poker game, inspired by a French film.
But instead they came up with fire drill episode.
The cat gag was elaborate and expensive.
They used two real identical cats (one thrown up, one dropped down) with trainers in the ceiling.
$12,000 custom stuffed replica was made as backup.
No animals were harmed; trainers limited takes to protect the cats’ careers
Filming the fire drill took 1.5 days due to all the physical comedy and stunts. The cast’s genuine panic helped because the chaos was more intense than expected.
It was the most-watched episode of the series
