@44_BC_ @veefriends @garyvee I was surprised at how much at home I felt just being around the people in the community. Everyone I meet seems to be rooting for each other and it makes you want to be more involved with them more. I didn’t expect that sense of belonging that fast.

Just joined the @veefriends community and I’m genuinely excited to learn more. Funny enough, I discovered VeeFriends through @garyvee content. I initially came for the entrepreneurship lessons, but the more I learned, the more I realized this community is about much more than NFTs it’s about accountability, positivity, and building for the long term. As someone new here, I’d love to hear from longtime holders and community members: What’s one thing about VeeFriends that surprised you the most when you first joined? Looking forward to learning and contributing. :)

Alagille Syndrome is a rare disease. Most people have never heard of it so it was surprising to hear that someone else in the @veefriends world has a child who is dealing with a similar situation. But I am so glad that I can help share their story! /2

Last week I saw a post from @LorcanaMama sharing that they were doing a fundraising stream for the Alagille Syndrome Alliance, a non-profit that has repeatedly blessed my family's life after we found out that our son had Alagille Syndrome. /1

Who is LorcanaMama? We’re just parents who’ve been to hell and back. Our family’s battle with Alagille Syndrome is why collecting “Rare” Robot means so much to us. Our kids are Rare too. They both have this very rare disease. They’ve faced more than most could imagine, yet they wake up every day with a smile. ❤️ Next week we’re running a #Veefriends Comic Stream to benefit the Alagille Syndrome Alliance. This incredible organization helped us fight to get our son on the liver transplant list when he was denied this life saving procedure. When my son was in the hospital and wanted to learn how to play the TCG we had lots community members and Gary reach out. He loved it. We learned how to play. And it’s something we’ve been able to do together.
