I just paid what I hope is my last Spanish tax... A full TWO YEARS after exiting the country And the way it happened tells you everything you need to know about what a sh*tshow taxes are in my beloved Spain 🇪🇸 I received a notification today (on Sunday of all things) warning me that I have 10 days left to pay a surcharge they had notified me of a month ago Thing is, they had never notified me. They're supposed to send you an email AND an SMS, and I have neither of them Great start Then, it turns out they claim I owe them money from 2024... not because I didn't pay or anything, but because I paid what they asked me to that year, and then they decided to revisit my "autónomo" monthly fees and figured they were too low So now I have to pay for the difference Sigh Alright, it's not a big deal, I'll just treat them like the mafia they are and pay them so they go away But then... ... The website where I have to pay doesn't work if I'm abroad. Need to use a VPN ... They need a bunch of data for me to pay that they DON'T provide in the threatening email they send me, so I have to start looking for it for about half an hour ... They don't confirm whether the payment has been successful or not, so I'm not even sure I'm off the hook I knew this one was coming so at least it was not a surprise But man, what a joke of a country

@Moneytaur_ If you want to experience some of the most spectacular underwater scenes then you need to check out Sipadan Island. It's Borneo Malaysia. Top world dive spot for a reason, it's unreal. Stay on the oil rig for a unique experience!

On a more serious note, the real reason i will go is the marine life. That will always be number one. I've seen so much of the world above the surface that i made it a mission to explore what most people never will, what lies beneath. And the ocean is different. It doesn't just stretch outward…it goes down. And every few meters, it feels like you've entered a completely new world, almost like discovering another country, another layer, another level. Same place, but different reality. That's the beauty of it. It's endless in a way land will never be. Maybe only those drawn to island life truly understand, but once you see it, it changes what you consider 'exploring' forever.

I'm going to visit Koh Tao just because i bought Tao in February. That's how we roll.

Self-employed tax on €50,000/year: 🇪🇸 Spain: ~€22,000 (Autónomo quota + IRPF + IVA misery) 🇩🇪 Germany: ~€16,000 🇳🇱 Netherlands: ~€14,000 🇵🇹 Portugal (NHR): ~€7,500 🇵🇾 Paraguay: €0 to €5000 You read that right Paraguay's territorial tax system means foreign-sourced income is completely untaxed And the rest is taxed at a maximum of 10% €50,000 earned online from clients outside Paraguay = €0 owed to any government Most Europeans don't know this exists... and most who do think it sounds too good to be true But it's been the law since 1992

Interestingly the levels for TOTAL and USDT.D are roughly as far away in percentage terms.

An interesting looking level long for AAVE coming up, not too far away from CMP, according to the scanner. Obviously you would want that to align with majors though.

@harryarist Yes. They are Trading view indicators. They are meant to pair with the liquidity scout scanner. The scanner scans the market and does the heavy lifting. Then when you switch over to the charts this helps you visualise it. 👌

@barnc0re Yesss! Same with me. As soon as I look at it as data collection, analysis and optimisation it changed the game for me. As soon as I think of it as a way to earn money or gain riches the pressure, emotions and ego come back.

Something i've learned about myself is that one of my shortcomings is that i tend to place far too much importance on future results (and what it means for my future life/self), which leads to perfectionism / resistance to decision / analysis paralysis. When i reframe my relationship to trading conceptually in my mind from some "big important thing that's gonna change my life" to a "fun data collection exercise" (i love data lol) the resistance/pressure feeling is instantly replaced by curiosity/enthusiasm. It's visceral and instant. But not yet fully internalized. This state is much more process-orientated, which is more conducive towards excelling. I made this desktop background so it influences my subconscious in the right direction. I'll see it every day. Sharing it here for anyone that has the same shortcomings, maybe it'll be useful for you too 🥂

@Albert_618 @AlystyrX @Salad_trades I reckon it's deliberately done this way so exchanges gobble your money and retail are stuck with that disadvantage. Don't know if rollbit is much better, but lucky uses it for scalping.
