@evertoniansouth Financially we may be weak but he’s such a valuable asset to any of the Big 6 that a bidding war surely shouldn’t be difficult to create. Use their own financial strength to play them off against each other.

@Declofeu It’s not the same though mate. We are so financially weak and clubs can probably smell the blood. 100% agree that Branthwaite is a better player at the same age and has every attribute to be better. But we won’t get that kind of money for him.

We sold John Stones for £47.5 million 8 years ago and he was nowhere near as valuable to the team as Branthwaite is. I think Branthwaite will go on to be a better defender than Stones as well so we really need to be getting north of £75 million if we are going to sell.
