@FatDogCreatives Well, since you asked… if you host with us, we’ll do all of your software updates for you - so you can get back to doing what you do best without all of those pesky updates. @FatDogCreatives already knows this because we host a few of their sites! dependablewp.com

@onedogsolutions @FatDogCreatives We are actively considering discontinuing support for the official @WooCommerce Stripe plugin and switching to the one you’ve suggested. Should we do so, our users can rest assured - like everything else on our platform - we will take care of the full migration for them.

@FatDogCreatives Have never been a fan of the official WooCommerce payment gateway plugins. Support is non-existent, and the code is awful at times. The rub is with an ecom store, once you use one checkout plugin, it takes some dev work to migrate to another one. Especially with recurring.

Is the WordPress ecosystem being destroyed from the inside? Suggesting that we stop using one plugin in favor of a WP-backed plugin is the best/only solution crushes the independent developers who've supported WP from the beginning.

🧵 I've spent the afternoon telling everyone who will listen just how awful @WooCommerce developers are at offering support in the @WordPress support forum. Let's begin...

When our CEO and others provide solid evidence in a support forum that there's a problem with your code, don't blow them off and try to censor their helpful comments. When multiple people tell you there's a problem with your code, there's most likely a problem with your code.

Late last night, they finally acknowledged the prob with their code - turns out, we were right all along. @WooCommerce, you're free to issue a public apology for your devs wrongly having my comments censored & you should request the moderation req be removed from my profile.

Thank you @FatDogCreatives! I love working with you too and am so glad that enjoy our platform! Our goal has always been to offer premium hosting at a reasonable price point so business owners can focus on what matters most - running their business - instead of updating software.

If you don't know @Bradcdelaney with @DependableWP hosting, you're missing out. I couldn't have launched my last two sites without him. I couldn't have made it through the last few years without @JocelynMozak coaching me through all the coding stuff I needed. ❣️

We regret that most of our network has been affected by today's global internet outage. We are currently working to resolve the issue and hope to have everything back online soon!

Yikes! Research your hosting company well! “the VPS providers don't list physical addresses, don't list proper business registration information, and have no references to their ownership. Effectively, they look like ghost companies.” zdnet.com/article/20-vps…
