@CSKian716 Now is the age of Social Media. Everyone keeps an eye on social media. If any Youngerster perform well in Domestic his name is automatically highlighted . Apart from that you need purse also. MI went for many uncapped players like kartik,salil etc but purse was not there.

It's so weird that while all these teams are scouting and unleashing youngsters in the XI, there is nobody coming from Mumbai Indians, considered the gold scouting in IPL.

@CricAspect Bumrah taking less wickets because 9 out of 10 times Bunrah will be bowling 5th or 6th over and 17th and 19th over as a run saving bowler. Now Batsman play him Smartly but boom puts pressure from one end.Its the job of other end bowler to reap the benefit of pressure.

@cricbuzz Trust your bowlers and Have a common plan. Practise hard. There were lots of full toss deliveries while going for yorker. MI always has been slow starter but once their engine starts everything looks beautiful.

@Prithvi10_ MI bowling unit need a proper planning to stop opposition under 240. Forget about slot deliveries apart from first over.If tgere is no swing than go for Hard length.If you are going full than go for yorker Once MI batting start clicking they can chase it down no matter what.

Its not rocket science to decipher whats wrong with MI. Its v simple. Its the bowling. For yrs there template has been one Left arm OS pacer + Another OS pacer + Bumrah + Hardik+ 2 spinners. Left arm OS pacer used to consistently take wkts in PP. They were McClenaghan, Boult, Behrendroff. Which is not clicking for them since past few seasons. They tried Sams and Mills in that role didn't work. Between 2020-23 Boult and Chahar took the most wkts in PP. Now they have both but both aren't the same. Coming to the 2nd OS pacer. NCN, Pattinson in 2020 & Malinga in 2019 worked extremely well for them but since then they tried Jofra, Meredith, Kwena, Coetzee etc with little success. 8 overs of quality and economical spin in the middle in Bhajji, Suchith, Chahar, Krunal. Post 2020, they have tried Piyush, M Ashwin, Karthikeya, Vignesh, Shokeen etc who all went for plenty. In the end, it all boils down to horrible auction and planning. They have assembled a gun top 7 but after retentions they are left with no considerable money to break the bank for someone like Bhuvi and Hazlewood for example ( MI were the losing bids )

Yes Bumrah is the Biggest superstar. Give him bowling conditions than. You can't have Flat Decks and shorter boundaries to judge the bowling. Talk about comparing when , The ball will swing for all 20 overs like pitch remains flat . Have similar criteria before comparing.

@Prithvi10_ How many reviews have you saved on those Virat wide calls. Everything goes by law. RCB also changed the ball in the second inning according to Rules but No MI players did this drama of doing nonsense.

If u don't want to be disobeyed by a player then stop changing the ball for no fking reason. How many demerit points for that mf umpire for not giving wide off Bumrah on 18.5 or denying a wide when Kohli was batting?

@bholination Everyone goes with that phase. People questioned Virat ,Rohit, Hardik , Sanju, Abhishek Sharma even Bumrah. If you start dropping than I think Rajat should also remain ready to be dropped. Patience is the key.But I support #Shreyas being in XI.

@bholination Patidar was way above average player before 2024 when Virat used to be RCB captain. Scored runs in few innings and rest were normal innings. Tilak came out hitting 3 centuries back to back that too in SA. YES EVERYONE HAS BAD YEAR that does not mean you do not back them.

Imagine Ishan opening for MI then you can play all of Jacks Rutherford Santner and then have the luxury to choose Ghazanfar or Bosch and still have 6 bowling options without impact player rule giving you more flexibility to add extra batter or bowler as per situation. Sigh.

@TheAstroNexus MI loosing continuous 3-4 games of their first 5 encounters is not something new. They have lost it with Ishan,krunal,HP,Pollard,bumrah,malinga etc . Yes there were few captaincy errors.
