Reminder: If Jagmeet Singh had pulled support for Trudeau when the NDP was polling ahead of the Liberals in 2024, Pierre Poilievre would be prime minister now and Jagmeet Singh would be leader of the opposition. There would be no Mark Carney, no "elbows up," and no dirty tricks to steal majority governments. But Singh didn't do that because it would have put his pension at risk.

Based on what has happened the past month, culminating into tonight's by-election result, I am now publicly for Alberta separation. Even though I live in BC, I will do everything in my power to make it happen. Canada is officially over.

Gold is nearly $5k US an oz. Oil is roughly $100 US a barrel. Canada has some of the world's largest in ground gold reserves and oil deposits. We could have been as wealthy as Saudi Arabia. Instead we're as broke as Venezuela. But hey, at least we're not American, right?

@PrairieVeteran It also highlights that even the LPC don't believe the polls. If they did, the PM would have gone to the GG & called a federal election rather than 3 by-elections and gotten an overwhelming majority. The fact that he didn't says even he knows the polls aren't accurate.
