@NicoleOnRacing OUT: batteries, DRS, active aero, radio comms, Liberty Media, MBS/ Sky F1 presenters, current rule book, (excessive use of) safety cars, pointless celebrities.
IN: V10/V12, Turbo, manual gear shift, smaller cars, hot pit girls, re-fuelling during the race, etc.

@parallels Interesting. Could you please report on temperatures and noise levels when running Windows via Parallels?
My current MBP (pre Apple Silicon) is so loud and hot when running Parallels.

Curious whether the new MacBook Neo can run Windows?🤔
Our engineering team’s initial testing confirms that Parallels Desktop installs & runs VMs stably on the #MacBookNeo!🙌
Full compatibility & performance testing are still underway.

@formularacers_ @BBCSport Princess George with the best engine and fastest car on the grid, getting a pass from FIA on his jump start in Melbourne and still complaining. Maybe because he knows he’s not good enough to fight for the WC on his own skill and merit.
English

🚨 | NEW: George Russell on race starts
"The FIA was looking to adjust that. But as you can imagine, some teams who were making good starts didn't want it - which I think is a bit silly...
"Some people have selfish views and want to do what's best for themselves."

@nalinrajput23 It was one of Apple’s worst ideas of the post-Jobs era.
Hate that the damn thing constantly turns off to prevent OLED burn-in. No tactile feedback. Can’t rest your fingers on it without activating something. Awful. At best it should’ve been a BTO.
English

@MV33Racing Real easy. Cancel your F1 membership. Don’t buy their merchandise or tickets. Censor them with your wallet.
Watch 🏴☠️streams if you can’t do without this snore fest.

@MotorsportiveHQ Paistri forgot to install the latest firmware.

@FanaticsFerrari How about we scrap sustainability in the sport but ban drivers and entourage from traveling in on private jets and yachts.

$599. A18 Pro chip, side-firing speakers, 13-inch screen.

Official: Apple announces the MacBook Neo.

@cleanupbritain @colin_gram Lets fine offenders and use the proceeds to pay for the cleaning equipment and products. Additionally hit them with a community service order where they can spend a couple of weekends cleaning the streets.
English

Problem: there are millions of chewing gum blotches all over Britain’s pavements. Costing 25p each to remove.
Solution: Ban non-biodegradable chewing gum. @colin_gram

@TrevorScottReal Let's get real. Getting a kitten is and will always be a better choice than getting a tesla.

@Pearlofwissdom @MrBonMot You need to watch where you step jeez. Don’t step in every bad thing you see on the road

@formularacers_ @Auto_Racer_it A 🤡 emoji where the HP logo used to be.

🚨 | NEW: There will reportedly be a "pleasant surprise" with the 2026 Ferrari livery.

@designbypepo Too vague and unintuitive. Meaning you end up having to search and think just to find the app you want, slowing you down. Sorry, but this is not good at all.
English

I see many people getting confused with the icons, let me explain. We tried to mimic the UI of the apps:
- Logic Pro/Garage Band is the timeline
- Keynote are slides
- Numbers is a table
- Pages is the sidebar alongside a page

Our take on the Apple Creator Studio icons. Stay tuned for Solarium ✨ @designbypepo x @lucidstarfield
English

@dcurtis Icons are boring now because they have to work everywhere on everything, for everybody, so risk and personality get stripped away until only safe, neutral, boring shapes remain.
English

These new icons sacrifice the logical representations of each app’s function to the rookie mistake of desiring absolute visual consistency over generally good design. A couple of them are so abstract they don’t make sense.
I hope whatever design team Apple has left after the reign of Alan Dye can pull together their talent and power to once again do truly great, world-changing work.

@zollotech Those icons look like something you can get on Fiver. Or indeed straight out of Gemini for free.
What is Apple paying their design team for? Uninspired, unoriginal, unclear. Just awful work.
English

This is really a shame. The Pixelmator Pro logo looks terrible and Motion logo looks like someone was drawing the McDonalds logo. Don't care for any of them really any at all. Lost the premium feel.
Viktor Seraleev@seraleev
Not a concept. Apple is actually refreshing the icons of its creative apps (Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, and more) under the new Creator Studio format. Thoughts?
English

@markgurman These are the kind of icons you get under a CEO who doesn't care enough about design. You need someone who at the last minute dares to say: "WTF is this?! We're not shipping with this junk".
English

Since I’m in the 0.1% that does care, quite the start for the supposed new direction in Apple design after Alan Dye’s departure /s

@markgurman That's a pencil pusher's way of thinking about it.

Apple has 2 billion users now. 99.9% of them do not care about the icons.
