جیسے یہ خود ڈفر ہیں ان کے چاپلوس ملازم بھی نرے ڈنگر ہیں۔ پتا ان کو اپنے علاقے اور محلے کا بھی نہیں ہوتا اور یہاں خود کو کائناتِ کُل سمجھتے ہوئے آزاد کشمیر کے معاملات میں خود ساختہ فلسفی بنے ہوئے ہیں۔ ان بے غیرت ڈنگروں کے صبر کا پیمانہ صرف نہتے لوگوں پر ہی لبریز ہوتا ہے۔

اس امر سے انکار ممکن نہیں کہ مہاجرین کی مخصوص نشستوں کو الیکشن انجنیرنگ کے لئے استعمال کیا جاتا ہے۔ اور اس میں اصلاحات کی ضرورت ہے۔ جو مہاجرین آزاد کشمیر میں آباد نہیں ہوئے اور نسل ہا نسل پاکستان میں سکونت پذیر ہیں اور پاکستان کی شہریت کے حامل ہیں ان کو واقعی ریاستی حکومت میں حصہ نہیں ملنا چاہئے۔ کیا ہم اس بات پر راضی ہوں گے کہ برطانوی نژاد پاکستانی لوگوں کی تیسری پشت کو ہماری اسمبلی میں نشست ملے؟ آزاد کشمیر میں ہی اچھی خاصی آبادی مہاجرین کی موجود ہے۔ نشستیں ان کے لئے مخصوص کریں اور ان کی تعداد مہاجرین کی آبادی کے تناسب سے رکھیں۔ البتہ یہ بلیک میل کمیٹی اور اس طرح کے دیگر لوگوں کے ساتھ کوئی سمجھوتہ نہ ہو سکتا ہے نہ کیا جا سکتا ہے۔ پچھلی دفعہ بھی ان سے گذارش کی تھی کہ صبر کا پیمانہ لبریز ہورہا ہے حد سے تجاوز نہ کریں لیکن ان کو خمار تھے کافی۔ خیر حکومت کو تو عادت ہے اس طرح کی حرکات کی۔ یہ تو قلیل مدت چیز ہے۔ طویل مدت حل کی طرف آئیں۔ استصواب رائے کروائیں ۔ یہ رہنا چاہیں تو ٹھیک، جیسے باقی رہ رہے ہیں ویسے ہی رہیں۔ نہیں رہنا چاہتے تو اللہ تعالیٰ آپ کا حامی و ناصر ہو اور خوب ترقی دے اور جیسا فلاحی نظام آپ ہم سے مانگتے ہیں ویسا آپ کو خود بنانے کی صلاحیت دے۔

Now even Mirwaiz Umar Farooq is speaking against Pakistan’s crackdown on Kashmiris. Irony indeed. We grew up watching India’s oppression in Kashmir and saw Mirwaiz himself face arrests and harassment by Indian forces on PTV. Today, Pakistan faces the same criticism. Unbelievable

Deeply disturbed by the news coming from across the LoC. The killing of more than a dozen protesting civilians and police personnel is extremely sad. The Government there should know better than to use force to handle public grievance and demands in this manner. When people take to the streets to express their concerns, it is a signal that they seek to be heard. It is the responsibility of those in authority to listen, engage and peacefully resolve the matter, rather than allow it to escalate into violence, arbitrary arrests and loss of life. Hope and pray that better sense prevails and the matter is handled with maturity while addressing the concerns of the people.

The difference is, unlike Pakistanis claiming ancestral heritage from 2000 years ago, they are actually a part of the society in AJK, and are citizens.
The vast majority of the entire population of south AJK/Mirpur div. lives in the UK & most villages here remain largely empty for much of the year. Almost all houses, land, properties, businesses etc in south AJK are owned by Azad Kashmiris in the UK. Most of the MLA’s in Mirpur division are also British citizens. Majority of the actual population is overseas & the minority of the population living there year round, most of their family is in the UK
They come back regularly, majority get married from their home villages etc, they participate in every aspect of life there. They are equal part of that society and never alienated their homeland.
Even a number of the people leading the protests in South AJK on the ground right now are British AJKians.
Outsiders cannot buy land or houses in AJK so the native population has never been replaced.
Pakistanis like you have 0 connection to AJK in any way. 4.5 million people of AJK don’t want you to have anything to do with our country either, so why are you trying to impose yourself on us?

As Chair of the APPG on Kashmir today, along with over 40 Parliamentarians, we met the Minister of State for Pakistan and Kashmir-related affairs to raise serious concerns regarding the rapidly escalating tensions in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
We made our position clear in the need for immediate:
⚫Enhanced consular support for British nationals
⚫An end to the lockdown
⚫Restoration of communications
⚫Peaceful negotiations to resume
⚫Respect for the inalienable human rights of Kashmiris

@KoshurPatriot Mirpuris are dual nationals. They have Mirpur domicile, addresses and properties etc. They come back regularly. They never alienated their homeland. Your logic is very same to Israelis, they claim same that they lived in Palestine 2000 years ago.

AJK belongs to its native people who are only Mirpuris, Poonchis and Muzaffarabadis. Punjabis whose origin is Kashmir have nothing to do with AJK. I don't know why these desperate Punjabis whose origin is Kashmir want seats in the AJK Assembly.

Those who proscribed JAAC & labelled 4.5 million Azad Kashmiris as “terrorists”, you have made a huge mistake.
Today the matter has gone far beyond the 38 demands or 12 seats.
The people will now take the power and authority themselves.
