Might be the end of an era for the YouTube channel. The weekly reviews of manga just aren't hitting the same for me anymore enjoyment wise. Whilst I still love Kagurabachi & Jujutsu Kaisen, I'm finding myself drawn to bigger/deeper videos exploring different topics 🫣

I think had Denis extended that scene in the film It'd have hit WAYYY harder for me personally. Theres pro and cons to boths sides. Not to say the scene was bad, However Timothee would have SMASHED that descent into madness I think

The conversation these two had in the tent felt like a chess game, One that Jessica had no idea she was playing. It showed Paul's mindset and Mentat side coming out as if he was a super computer.

The more I read of Dune, the more and more I fall in love with the universe. I also come to admire Denis more in how he adapted it. I can see why certain things where changed/cut/reworked.

This film is just plain appropriation and daylight robbery of West Asian and North African people's language and culture atp considering the cast. If you didn't know who this white lady is, you'd think it's just a photo of an indigenous Algerian woman.

I think for now, I might pause those weekly reviews. I've always said my channel is run on passion and love. Right now that passion and love isn't pushing me toward weekly reviews, but rather as I mentioned deeper, broader and longer form content ❤️
