We are currently under an extreme heat warning. Did you know that your local library are cooling centres? Visit us if you need a break from the heat to enjoy Free WiFi, air conditioning, comfy chairs, quiet study rooms, or a place to hang out before going to the splash pad.

This Friday, both of our Library branches will be closed for the Canada Day holiday. We'll be back open again on July 2nd for our regular Saturday hours of 10 am to 4 pm. Our drop boxes will be open 24/7, as is our Digital Library of ebooks and audiobooks.

(June 17th) We are currently recieving reports of customers having issues signing into our public Wifi. While we work to resolve this, please ask our front desk staff for assistance in bypassing the error. Once accessed, WiFi is working normally.

Her work included converting our library to RFID, launching the Holland Landing Food Pantry, and designing the new branch coming soon to the Health and Active Living Plaza. Her dedication to the East Gwillimbury community and to our library staff will be greatly missed.

It is with great sadness we announce that our CEO, Monika Machacek, will be leaving the Library this month to become CEO of @ClaringtonLib . Monika joined our library in 2015 and became the and was a driving force behind our modernization projects.

Join us on Wednesday April 20th at 11 am for the opening of the Silk Twist Trail. This trail starts at the Holland Landing Community Centre and expands for an entire kilometer. Its walking, cycling and on-leash pet-friendly. Join us and the @townofeg for the summer of parks!
