Why does it seem from the outside, that the good people who care about the club get moved on or used as the scapegoat? Heybridge swifts HAD a reputation of rewarding loyalty and looking after those who gave back to the club … now that seems a thing of the past. Yet again, it’s the media men who have to announce another stinker of a decision made in connection with the club. I’ve got more chance of getting a 6-pack than we have of the manager & “new owner(s)” taking some accountability for their actions? This’ll be the best step 7 ground in the country, with no fans left to fill it.

Heybridge Swifts can confirm the departure of Club Captain Connor Hogan by mutual consent. Connor joined the club in January of 2025, and was made Club Captain at the start of the 2025/2026 season.
