Zelenskyy missed a chance today to make the right case. He almost hit the mark when he spoke about the drones Ukraine can offer the US but the way he said it sounded absurd: Drones for Tomahawks sounds insane. It's not drones that Ukraine offers but drone-iteration: bureaucracy-busting war-fighting innovation, in which the guys in the trenches talk to the guys in the lab and improve the tech in days, not months or years. The White House and the US defense industry don't comprehend this. It's not obvious. Ukraine did not comprehend this pre-2022. We need to articulate it. But saying "oh we'll give you thousands of drones in return for Tomahawks" is going to increase American skepticism. It sounds sad. And as we should all know by now, when speaking before cameras in the White House you are not only speaking to Trump: You are a candidate in the most important season ever of Trump's reality show The Apprentice, and you are on trial before all of America. It's your chance to make the case. Zelenskyy missed a chance today to make the right case. Ukraine's military value proposition to the USA is not "drones," as Zelenskyy said, but "drone-tech iteration." I know it's not easy to make the case. I know it's high pressure in the White House, especially given where they made him sit squeezed in among the reporters. But it's much worse being squeezed in the trenches. We've seen such progress the past months—but amazingly we forget this: The Russians really are set out to destroy Ukraine, and every time Trump gets favorable to Ukraine, Russia has a new trick. We can't miss these opportunities.

A lot of people asking me this, and tagging me in posts. I don't believe in throwing people under a bus, was sceptical of the whole situation, because it's very clear that Twitch had something against The Doc. We never had the full context, and that matters. Regardless, I believe in grace. People can make mistakes, realize it, and grow and change. Some believe you do something wrong, that you should be condemned for the rest of time. They want to see your life destroyed forever, will never agree with that.

Interesting to look back and to see how naive everyone was just a year ago. This still remains the case - this war won’t end when Putin gets replaced by another FSB-backed figure (Navalny or any other russian imperialist). Because it’s not “putin’s war”. Forget this nonsense. It’s russians who support this war and will continue to wage it, because their end goal and ultimate objective is to subjugate, conquer and/or destroy all of Ukraine and wipe out Ukrainians. And then they will move on - to the next target. To expand the russian empire and to metastasize. This war will end only when russia falls apart, starts eating itself from within and eventually gets Balkanized into independent and semi-independent nation states which comprise what is known as “russia”. This war ends only when The Armed Forces of Ukraine push russians back and liberate all of internationally recognized territories of Ukraine, thus creating the conditions for all of the above. That is the only way for this war to end. And that is the only way to stop russia, which is the biggest threat to global peace and security.
