From now until the 2027 elections, do not expect peace. In ADC, in PDP, in LP, expect no peace. And Tinubu’s hands will be all over it.
Anyone who expects any less must be naive.
Tinubu is president today ONLY because of the alliance he forged with disgruntled politicians and opposition parties.
His 2011-election party bit the dust after the then ACN’s planned merger with other opposition parties, chiefly Buhari’s CPC, was scuttled by inordinate ambitions and unyielding interests. His then candidate Nuhu Ribadu placed a distant third with just 5.4% of total votes cast.
His 2007-election party AC recorded a similar failure, following another unsuccessful merger with Buhari’s ANPP. Like Ribadu, candidate Atiku Abubakar placed a woeful third with only 7.45% of votes.
But following a merger of three parties and the breakaway factions of two parties in 2013, 5.4% in 2011 became 53.96% for Tinubu’s candidate Muhammadu Buhari in 2015. Without the successful merger of Tinubu’s ACN and Buhari’s CPC into APC in 2013 ahead of the 2015 elections, Tinubu would never have been president in 2023.
PDP is already a walking corpse; its biggest financier Nyesom Wike is also its number-one traitor. LP is no longer the force it was in 2023, further worsened by Peter Obi’s defection to ADC. Tinubu knows, therefore, that a peaceful ADC is the most potent threat to his 2027 reelection. From now until February 2027, expect ADC leaders to expend more energy on court-related matters than actual electioneering.
If Tinubu must be politically toppled in 2027, all opposition must come together to adopt a candidate. That, or it’s balablu and enikan lomo until 2031!

I joined my church's Legion of Mary society for a hospital visitation recently. We met a woman who had just given birth a few days prior. As usual, we talked with her, prayed with her and prepared to leave. Then her husband walked in, stress written all over his face.
He looked at his wife and said, "Don't worry honey, you'll be out of here soon. I believe."
That line stayed with me.
Later that day, I went back alone and spoke with the woman. She told me everything. They had planned and saved for the delivery but she ended up having a CS, which blew way past their budget. She and her husband are both teachers in a government secondary school. She had been cleared for discharge three days earlier but was still lying in that hospital bed because her husband could not complete the bill.
I asked her to call him. He came. We talked. He told me how hard he had been trying to raise the balance.
The total bill was around 570k. He had managed to pull together 420k. I covered the remaining 150k. I actually gave him 200k so they could use the extra 50k for food and diapers.
The moment the alert hit his phone, this man went down on his knees. Right there in the hospital corridor. I was embarrassed but I understood completely. He dragged me to his wife's ward, told her everything, and she was almost prostrating too.
They have been discharged now and I feel genuinely accomplished.
Help people. You have no idea what some families are carrying in silence.
Above all, love God.

You don’t understand what it means for Tinubu and his fellow criminals not to be able to pin one corrupt charge on Peter Obi. My respect for Peter Obi is DEEP!
I’m inspired! Deeply deeply inspired by his integrity. A former governor who could have chosen to enjoy certain “office perks” but didn’t. Those “perks” would have been used to pin corruption on him today. See, we need more Peter Obis in Nigeria.

Tinubu in Jos Confirms ‘Don't Vote for Me’ Prediction on Power Supply
During the 2023 campaign, President Tinubu made a clear electoral promise: “If I don’t give you constant electricity in four years, don’t vote for me for a second term.”
When he took office in 2023, Nigeria had a power supply of over 4,000 megawatts and lower tariffs. Today, the electricity power supply is less than 4,000 megawatts on the average, and Nigerians are paying higher tariffs. Nigeria currently has the lowest per capita electricity consumption in the world, with a rate below 30% of the African average. Africa’s average is 617kwh, Nigeria’s is 144 kWh. This means that Nigerians consume least electricity than other Africans.
In a glaring display of disregard for promises and a lack of trust, President Tinubu, during a brief airport stopover to visit grieving families of the Jos attack on Thursday, April 2, 2026, stated that one of the reasons for his 10-minute stay was that the airport had no electricity. “You have no light here I fly out in ten minutes” At a time when Nigerians are enduring days without power, our leaders cannot even stay a few minutes without it.
Now is the time to stop incompetent leaders—those lacking the capacity and compassion—who prioritise their own comfort over the well-being of the people and make empty promises.

Leadership Without Compassion is Not Leadership
During his visit to Benue State in June 2025, Bola Ahmed Tinubu stopped at the Government House but did not go to the actual scene where innocent Nigerians lost their lives. Similarly, yesterday in Jos, his engagement ended at the airport instead of at the affected communities.
What happened in Plateau yesterday highlights a complete absence of leadership. True leadership requires presence, empathy, compassion, and a willingness to meet people where their pain truly lies. For citizens who have just lost loved ones, homes, and their sense of safety, being addressed from an airport tarmac is profoundly inadequate.
This approach exacerbates the sense of abandonment already felt by innocent Nigerians who have endured repeated cycles of violence without meaningful protection or justice. Plateau deserves more than distant words; it requires urgent action and a clear commitment to ending the insecurity that continues to claim innocent lives.
In such moments, leadership must not only be visible but also tangible—standing with victims, listening to survivors, and acknowledging the depth of their grief.
If we truly desire a better Nigeria, we must demand leadership that is present, responsive, and responsible at all times.

On this Good Friday, I join Christian faithful across Nigeria and beyond in solemn reflection on the ultimate sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. His selfless love, humility, and unwavering obedience to the will of God remain timeless virtues that inspire us all.
As we commemorate His passion and death, let us be reminded of the boundless grace that flows from His sacrifice, a grace that calls us to live with compassion, forgiveness, and unity.
May this sacred day renew our faith, strengthen our bonds as one people, and guide us towards a future built on love and peace.
I wish all Christians a blessed Good Friday.
