On the eve of AKAM, cleaning work was conducted at Anderson Beach, Joginder Nagar, Campbell Bay to improve the coastal and ocean ecosystem and to preserve aquatic life.

To avoid accidents on SH-02 at Campbell Bay due to sliding from continuous rain, temporary barriers are constructed at different stretches of road.
