The sports media industry is dying because those doing the job are too lazy to verify with multiple sources they're being told the truth and use their platform to curry favor with teams and agents they're in bed with.

I’m old enough to remember when print media told us the truth - whatever it was. The fact that is no longer policy or priority is the No. 1 reason the business has failed in our lifetimes. Too often we are not provided objective truth.
