@DrVEvansWinters Agreed. The two terms have opposing connotations. Looking for a term for TRULY critical scholars who become editors, sit on committees. et al. & seek to disrupt elitism/exclusivity in these hegemonic spaces. Someone offered "igniter" & "catalysts." "Gatekeeping" is not critical.
