Woke up this morning to so much opinion around last night. What people don’t get is that it’s not about which one is or isn’t.. they are the same foul twice so it’s either a pen both times or it’s neither. That’s the problem.

Commentary didn’t mention once the complete lack of consistency between those 2 penalty decisions btw.. Like it’s not even a debate for them.

Consistency is the key to good refereeing. To get it right across different referees for the full season is challenging… To fuck it up with the same referee 15 minutes apart is shambolic.
