This is hands down my absolute favorite family story of all time and it’s 100 percent true. About 20 years ago my aunt and uncle adopted three siblings. A 10 year old boy and his two little sisters ages 3 and 4. The kids had just moved in and were still getting used to their new home. My aunt and uncle decided to introduce them to the Cook family kids down the street so they wrote Cook kids for dinner on the kitchen calendar. Innocent enough right. But the oldest boy had only just learned how to read. One evening he convinced his sisters to pack their favorite toys. The three of them tiptoed toward the front door trying to sneak out. My aunt caught them and asked gently. Where are you going. The little boy looked up at her this woman who was still basically a stranger and asked with complete seriousness. Why does the calendar say Cook kids for dinner. I still cant imagine the pure terror that 10 year old felt thinking his new mom was literally planning to cook them for the neighbours. But every time I remember this story it cracks me up and warms my heart at the same time. Pure childhood innocence.

@EtimRaw Poor babies just trying to survive their new home. Adoption stories like this remind me how much trust and patience it takes on both sides

@EtimRaw Your father grieved while she was still alive. He spent 30 yrs with her. Now he's supposed to do what? Sit alone in a room, wait to die? Your mother told him not to, and he's honoring her wishes. You grieve your way, but don't assume he's dishonoring 30 yrs by choosing to live.

Last December my amazing mom suddenly fell ill and passed on January 25th. My heart still breaks every single day. What is making this grief almost unbearable is my dad starting to date someone new within a month of losing her. My parents had a beautiful whirlwind love story. Engaged in under 60 days and deeply devoted for over 30 years. The night after mom died he told me he could not imagine being with anyone else. Yet weeks later he was on dating apps. Now only 3 months later he is already traveling staying in hotels and meeting her family. When I tried talking to him he said this is what your mom wants. He barely even talks to us about mom anymore. I know people grieve differently but this speed feels so disrespectful to the life they built. Am I wrong for feeling this way? How have others handled it when a surviving parent moves on this fast?

Winning big isn’t the real test, it’s knowing when to stop. Greed doesn’t just empty wallets, it empties peace of mind. Discipline is the difference between a story of triumph and a cautionary tale. Turning 100k into 2.4M showed what’s possible, but losing it all showed why self-control is priceless. The lesson isn’t about luck, it’s about mastery: if you can control your desire, you can control your destiny. True wealth isn’t measured by the millions you touch, but by the wisdom you keep.

Guyssss, my boyfriend almost lost his mind today 😭💔💔💔 Here’s what happened… He turned 100k into 2.4M on Aviator, then lost it all and ended up with just 1k this evening People started gathering outside because he was almost naked while trying to explain what happened 😭 We had to hold him back before he ran into the market. Stop betting. Or better still, know when to stop. Greed is the real loss.

One of the childhood memory i can never forget was one time i changed the "22nd" on my result to "12nd". The beating I got that day eh, I don't know if it was because I tried playing them or cos I was dumb enough to write twelve-nd.

What would you choose if you had the chance to travel around the world or own your dream house? Would you prefer adventure and new experiences, or comfort and stability? Why do many people love traveling? Is it because they want to see beautiful places, meet new people and learn about different cultures? Could traveling help people become more confident and open minded? On the other hand, why do people dream of owning a house? Is it because a home gives safety, comfort, and peace? Would having a dream house make life feel more stable and secure? If you had to decide today, which would you choose? Would you spend your money on exploring the world or would you build the perfect home for yourself and your family? In the end, isn’t the real question about what brings more happiness, experiences or comfort?

Most people will debate travel versus home like it’s a competition, but I see it differently. A house can be built brick by brick, but memories are built moment by moment. The real question isn’t which one comes first, it’s whether you’re willing to live fully in whichever choice you make. Adventure without roots drifts, and stability without stories stagnates. Happiness isn’t about picking one, it’s about refusing to let either become empty.

Gap teeth and hairy legs are actual beauty standards in Ghana 🔥🇬🇭 Ghanaian men go crazy over a beautiful diastema. That natural gap between the front teeth is seen as a sign of luck, fertility, beauty and charm. Some women even create one on purpose! Hairy legs? Many men find natural leg hair attractive. It is considered a sign of good health and raw femininity, especially among the older generation. Coca Cola body shape is still big, but add gap teeth and natural hairy legs? Absolute chef’s kiss in Ghana. Would you rock this natural look? Drop your thoughts 👇
