@ZeronisART Withering away is a really good description of how I feel. While I believe someone with your experience will always be valued, I don't think we will be ever able to feel the same thrill from the digital work again

Lately, it’s been tough to find the meaning in continuing to make art with the grey clarity of what the future is going to be like in this industry. I’m currently working as a freelancer and lucky to have few opportunities that keep things sustainable short-term, but due to the uncertainty of the job market and maybe my skillset starting to be cannibalized by AI technology, my future career is withering away. 15 years of working as an IC, I had some taste of leading a team and collectively creating something together with a clear vision and goal but never officially stepped up into that role to grow and learn. And it’s difficult to know if I’ll have that opportunity again. I know many talents in the industry are facing the same struggle and uncertainty in their careers, and I’m hoping that with the certain positive prospect of the economy brings certainty in our careers as well.
