@K31C0R3 I never liked how tang sanzang always believed pigsy’s lies most of the time.. many of them were to cause wukong pain since pigsy was technically afraid of Wukong.. since Wukong could slap him into the next year if he wanted to 🥲

@K31C0R3 I actually found some parts of chapter 38 (the 3 year old dead body of a king chapter as well as a quote from chapter 76 were Wukong points out his favoritism with Pigsy and how the tang priest seems to literally only listen to Pigsy when it came to Wukong.

@K31C0R3 And has also been dealing with being kidnapped, dealing with assault and etc but I also don’t believe people should ignore that even before all this happened the tang priest still wasn’t very nice to Wukong. Even though Wukong doesn’t fully understand-

@K31C0R3 I don’t really see him as abusive either.. again this is set in the tang dynasty (correct me if wrong) and so how things work is very different. The tang priest was given this mighty and very important role to get the scriptures (hold on I got more..)

@K31C0R3 ITS ALMOST DAILY 😭 like dude it’s not really their fault either! Sandy and Pigsy were cursed for making the heavens angry AND WUKONG IS LITERALLY A MONKEY and the tang priest gets compliments all the time for his looks so why can’t his disciples? 😔

@K31C0R3 I actually noticed that when watching some shows! They make tang sanzang more idk what a good word would be but in the novel he would occasionally just yell at the group for simply existing and also insulting them for just looking the way they are.

@K31C0R3 @AShadowViper I never understood why the tang priest also tried to defend Pigsy when he was in the wrong I can’t remember the chapter specifically but wukong even pointed out that the tang priest even played favorites when it came to the group.. which I found kinda weird.

@K31C0R3 It’s always so upsetting seeing people water down such unique gods and deity’s like how people get rid of Wukong’s character for the “plot” or for who knows what!

@K31C0R3 I always enjoyed how different many gods and deity’s looked in mythology and history. But sadly a lot of people will also make fun of their appearance and make super mean jokes about them. Or try to mock them and it’s so annoying watching people act that way.
