Capcom announced to investors in February that they would NOT feature generative AI assets in their video games. The company said they continue to use it to "improve efficiency" with graphics, sound and programming, but that it won't appear in any finished product.

Capcom has announced "The World of Biohazard", an anniversary-themed exhibition coming to Tokyo in 2026. The event will be an immersive walk through the history of the series, featuring production materials and exclusive merchandise. More info is expected this summer.

Capcom has announced in a press release that Resident Evil Requiem has sold 5 million copies. This makes it the best launch week in franchise history.
