FDC Remembers Probation Supervisor Bjorn Thomas Svenson. On August 31, 1982, Supervisor Svenson tragically lost life in the line of duty after being ambushed and shot by a parolee in Miami, FL. His bravery and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

There was always such a weird sense with Travis that he was too good to be true... he was too good to be so overlooked... he was too humble... he was too likable... he was too electric. His presence broke every narrative and stigma about FSU.
