Humanities students had a great time at their 9th and 10th grade mentor and mentee meeting wellness session. The weather was wonderful as our 10th graders welcomed our 9th graders to the academy!

Lunch at historic Mary Mac’s Tea Room in downtown Atlanta & then Hamilton for a truly interdisciplinary field trip. In the Humanities Academy we are all about “asking the questions & studying the experiences” & this made for an afternoon that our juniors and seniors won’t forget!

The Humanities Academy juniors were excited to welcome @whitlowwolves 5th grade broadcast students to @forsythcentralhs ! The collaborative journalistic work focused on interview techniques & culminated in a “talk show” style recording & “man on the street” impromptu questioning.

We’d also like to extend a special thank you to Mr. Rupal Vaishnav for guiding our students! Our academy is so lucky to have a connection within the community to teach us ♥️🤍🖤 #growinggloballeaders

We are so proud of our Humanities Mock Trial students! Congratulations to Cameron Stewart and Alex Green for winning best attornies and to the rest of the team for a job well done. Thank you also to Ms. Faith Smith and Mr. Matthew Thompson for all of your hardwork as advisors.
