Given the news that’s coming out financially about championship clubs… Surely there needs to be some sort of reform around parachute payments, not to take them away entirely Think the answer is probably just to cut them and share them more around the other clubs?

@McStreety @RobinNestBCFC Because the PL want to retain its competitive league. If promoted clubs don’t invest when they go up for fear of financial troubles if they go down, then the PL becomes multi-tiered. Do I agree with PPs? Nope. But I don’t see PL voting to remove them either.

@RobinNestBCFC Take them away. They force non-parachute payment clubs to dig deeper into money they don’t have just to ‘challenge’. If you go up, don’t survive and come down? That’s on you. Why should clubs be rewarded for going up and then for failure!
